Employer: West Coast Personnel
Engineering Machine Tool importers and agents for metal working machine tools such as: Conventional and CNC Machine Tools, Digital Read-Out Systems, Machine Tool Accessories and Tooling, seeks a Sales & General Manager to establish and grow our Germiston Branch.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and promote the company and products within the Region
- Focus on new business development – establish and target new customers and grow the market share
- Understand the products and services offering and approach of key competitors Stock control and logistics
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
- Co-ordinate after sales service
- Support and generate new marketing strategies
- Maintain a close liaison with Cape Town head office
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Solid technical knowledge and experience in the Engineering and Machine Tool field
- Grade 12
- Minimum 5 Years’ track record in the Engineering Machine Tool Retail Industry including sales, marketing and managerial experience
- Self-motivated and fully accountable individual
- Driver’s license and Own Car (required)
Remuneration:
- R25 000 basic plus commission on sales
