JMC SA is a proud commercial vehicle dealership based in the Westrand looking for a suitable candidate to fill the current vacancy.

The successful Logistics administrator will be responsible for the dealing with shipments based on product ordered, tracking orders to ensure timely deliveries, preparing shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and custom documents etc,)  Supporting the supply chain procedures, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized and understand the order fulfillment cycle.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Duties

  • Complete clearing instruction documentation and follow up clearing status.
  • Dealing with customs documentation
  • Arrange payments with finance
  • Arrange and manage unpacking process
  • Do PICC claims
  • Arrange transport for unpacked goods
  • Arrange ID Dots fitment
  • Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests
  • Submit and manage claims from transporters
  • Deal with various documentations within the scope of work including XDP and XGR
  • Submit NRCS and arrange payments
  • Deal with suppliers and invoices
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints
  • Liaise with other departments in order to establish and maintain effective and relevant import/export/distribution activities in relation to organization sales, purchasing and supply.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Job Requirements

  • Proven working experience in logistics
  • Proficient in standard logistics software – Excel and automate;
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
  • Strong communication skills in order to work with customers, employees, finance and dealerships that represent the dealership.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, evenings and weekends to achieve their goals when needed.
  • Good organizational skills
  • An ability to prioritize workload
  • An ability to work as part of a team and on your own
  • An eye for detail
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clear criminal record
  • Matric
