Hardware Sales Consultant – Paint

Job specifications/ responsibilities

•   Excellent customer service and after sales service
•   Drive promotion and sale of stock
•   Monitor stock levels, order stock and ensure correct stock is received and labelled
•   Remove damaged stock
•   Reduce shrinkage by minimising breakages
•   Assist with annual stock takes
•   Understanding of procedures for goods collection, delivery, dispatch, ordering and returns
•   Liaison with suppliers, merchandisers and buyers including other departments
•   General understanding of competitors

Requirements:

•   2-3 years relevant experience in a retail hardware environment
•   Matric / Grade 12 essential
•   In depth knowledge of relevant merchandise/paint, etc
•   Computer literate
•   Excellent communication skills
